Python - Strings Search

Python provides these built-in functions that you can use on strings for formatting.

• startswith - Start with
• endswith - End with
• find - Find the offset of a substring (Return -1 if not found)
• index - Find the offset of a substring (Raises an exception if not found)
• rfind - Find the offset of a substring from end (Return -1 if not found)
• rindex - Find the offset of a substring from end (Raises an exception if not found)
• count - Count the number of substring occurrence
• isalnum - Check all characters are only letters or numbers

String - Get a character with [] index

String - Get substring with slice()

• [:]
• [start:]
• [:end]
• [start:end]
• [start:end:step]
